IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: Neodymium magnets can be harmful if inhaled or swallowed so please store them safely out of reach of children. For children's projects use them strictly under adult supervision.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: If you allow neodymium magnets to crash together or into metal objects the force may shatter them. Please take care handling them.
Customer Notice: Neodymium magnets are made from metallic powders that are pressed into shapes and treated in a furnace. These shapes are then electroplated with nickel to prevent corrosion. The shiny nickel coating gives the impression that the magnets are made of solid metal but they are physically more like pottery. Depending on their size and shape if you allow neodymium magnets to crash together the force may shatter them.

International Customers: We are based in the United Kingdom and offer low cost worldwide shipping by an international 5-10 day airmail service. The postage and packing charge represents the actual cost of shipping, plus additional packing materials for airmail, and additional time. Due to customs clearance you can expect delivery up to 15 days from receipt of cleared payment. This delivery time is not a guarantee and is to some degree dependant on your local postal service.
Some countries impose additional tax on imported goods. This charge is made at the discretion of the receiving country and is your responsibility to pay. For small purchases this often isn't the case but please take the time research this before making your purchase.
For multiple purchases from the shop combined shipping may be offered. Please request a total or ask for advice before before making payment.
There is no problem at all returning your item for any reason within 30 days of purchase. We follow the managed returns process. Managed returns is an automated process with delivery confirmation. You will be provided with a dedicated return address and an RMA number. But please note the following to avoid confusion:
1) You need to have an open return case in order to be refunded and also to be provided with the return address. Please then only return items to the return address provided and not the address on the package as this will greatly delay receipt.
2) If you do not purchase the label after opening the return and send the item some other way it is most important that you get at least a certificate of posting free from the Post Office (not a till receipt). We need either the magnets back or a copy of the certificate of posting or the tracking number to refund you.
Customer Notice: Cancelling after dispatch (Distance Selling Regulations)
All returned products must be received in re-saleable condition or the goods will remain your property and will be made available for you or your agent or courier to collect at your convenience. The cost of returning the item to us is the responsibility of the customer and this will not be refunded. We do not accept underpaid postage items so you must ensure that you pay sufficient postage for the return to be delivered. Failure to re-use the original package may result in transit damage.
Neodymium magnets are made from a sintered alloy of the rare-earth element neodymium with iron and boron. This material has very high energy and is stronger than any other permanent magnet material for most applications.
Neodymium magnets are manufactured in a large number of grades. The material grade determines the energy and thermal characteristics of the magnet. The numeric value in the grade code (35,42,52..) represents the maximum energy of the material and any following letters represent the thermal characteristics.
Neodymium magnets have a huge number of uses in crafts and hobbies and you will find them in many industrial and household products but they are not suitable for every application. If you need any advice about using magnets in your project or any require any information about the properties of neodymium then please get in touch.
